LYNN RAITT

Lynn is a native Torontonian and has had her own Interior Design business for over 26 years. She studied in England with majors in sculpture and printmaking. She is a member of the Association of Registered Interior Designers of Ontario and Interior Designers of Canada. Lynn is on ARIDO’S continuing education committee and the advisory board of Humber College for their Interior Decorating program. Her work includes residential, commercial and retail projects, with clients in Canada and the United States.

Lynn was the consulting designer on WTN’s The Decorating Challenge in it’s flagship year, as well as being on many episodes of the program. Her projects have been featured on City Line, HGTV’s Design for Living with Kimberly Seldon, and This Small Space. Lynn also participates in the "Ask a Designer" sessions for ARIDO at The Interior Design Show, and conducts numerous design related seminars.

In the summer of 2000 she designed and created a "Moose" for the Toronto Symphony. The "Moosetro" brought the highest bid at Marilyn Lastman’s Arts Ball.

She is one of a group of ten designers to work on Gilda’s Club, a cancer support house, featured in Style at Home Magazine.

Her style is eclectic - "done well, it’s the most interesting." Her philosophy - "guide don’t dictate".
