RULES and REGULATIONS
HOW TO ENTER
Complete the contest form online or mail the contest form to Home & Style Studio Tour, P.O. Box 38078, 550 Eglinton Avenue West, Toronto, Ontario, M5N 1A8. Correctly answer the skill-testing question. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Entries are limited to one (1) entry per person and must be mailed separately bearing sufficient postage. A hand-drawn copy of the entry form is acceptable but each entry must be individually completed and not mechanically reproduced. All contest entries must be received by June 30, 2009 at 5pm Toronto time. The Home & Style Studio Tour, and those affiliated with it will not be responsible for lost, damaged, incomplete, postage due, misdirected and illegible entries, which will be null and void. The draw will be made in July 2009 and the winner will be contacted by telephone by a representative of the Home & Style Studio Tour. Winner will then receive a letter confirming the prize won, and given all details as to how to claim their prize.
PRIZE
The prize includes a decor consultation over lunch at The Fairmont Royal York with design and style expert Karl Lohnes. Design consultation valued at approximately $650 Cdn. The value of the lunch at EPIC at The Fairmont Royal York is not to exceed value of $250 Cdn. prize certificate. Gratuities and parking not included. Prize also includes an upholstered armchair from Decor-Rest Furniture $800 Cdn. Prize must be claimed subject to availability prior to December 30, 2009 at a mutually agreeable date and time for both Karl Lohnes and the winner. The total approximate retail value of this prize package is $1,700 Cdn. Prize is non transferable and cannot be changed once booked. There is no cash value to this prize.
The prize must be accepted as awarded. The prize is for personal use only. No substitution. Subject to availability. Prize is non-transferable and cannot be changed once booked or redeemed for cash or credit, in whole or in part. Requests for cash refunds will not be entertained. Prize suppliers reserve the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value in the event that the prize(s) featured are not available. No dollar value is associated with the appearance of Karl Lohnes and therefore Home & Style Studio Tour is under no obligation to provide a substitute celebrity guest consultation in the event that Karl Lohnes becomes unavailable for any reason. Prize suppliers also reserve the right to impose additional restrictions on their part of the prize. The prize does not include any travel component whatsoever. Incidental charges, parking and gratuities are not included. The winner will be contacted following the drawing of the prize. The organizers of the contest will make all reasonable efforts to contact the winner by telephone. If the organizers are unable to contact the winner within a sufficient amount of time as deemed appropriate by the organizers, the organizers retain the right to disqualify the winner's ballot and will draw a new winner from the remaining ballots.
ELIGIBILITY/ODDS
The contest is open to all legal residents of Canada, eighteen (18) years of age or older, with the exception of residents of the Province of Quebec. Home & Style Studio Tour participants and sponsors and members of their immediate families or households are not eligible to enter the contest. Employees and members of their immediate families and households of Home & Style Studio Tour, Jeffrey Stolberg Design Inc., Karl Lohnes, Decor-Rest Furniture, The Fairmont Royal York are also not eligible to enter. Winners will be required to sign a standard declaration and release form confirming compliance with the rules and waiving any liability of Home and Style Studio Tour, Jeffrey Stolberg Design Inc., Karl Lohnes, Decor-Rest Furniture, The Fairmont Royal York as well as any other sponsors or participants of the Home & Style Studio Tour not previously referred to, their affiliates and respective agents, employees, officers and directors arising out of the acceptance of the prizes as awarded or if services offered do not prove to be entirely satisfactory. By accepting the prize(s), the winner(s) agree to the use of their names, photographs and likeness for advertising or promotion and grant the Home & Style Studio Tour and its affiliates any and all rights to the said use without further compensation. Subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws, these rules govern all aspects of this contest and are binding on all entrants. Any decision made by the contest organizer in respect of this contest shall be final. The odds of winning are dependent on the numbers of contest entries received.
